Action AWS S3

S3 Upload File

Uploads a local file to an AWS S3 bucket. Credentials are read from the Secrets store. Compatible with S3-compatible services like Cloudflare R2 and MinIO via the Endpoint URL parameter. Fires On Success with upload details, or On Error with the error message.

Parameters

Object Key key string Yes — The destination key (path) in the bucket, e.g. "assets/textures/diffuse.png".
Local File Path local_file_path string Yes — Absolute path to the local file to upload.
AWS Region region string Yes us-east-1 AWS region where the bucket lives, e.g. "us-east-1".
Access Key ID Secret access_key_id_secret string Yes AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID Key in the Secrets store holding your AWS Access Key ID.
Secret Access Key Secret secret_access_key_secret string Yes AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY Key in the Secrets store holding your AWS Secret Access Key.
Endpoint URL (Advanced) endpoint_url string No — Override the S3 endpoint URL. Leave empty for standard AWS S3. Used for S3-compatible services (Cloudflare R2, MinIO, etc.) and testing.
Allow Private Networks allowPrivateNetworks boolean No false If false (default), the Endpoint URL override is validated against SSRF protection rules. Enable only when using a private S3-compatible endpoint (e.g. MinIO on an internal network).
