This statement applies to the website cg-jm.com and the commercial product Project Succession sold through it. It is published under the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG), which implements the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
Conformance status
cg-jm.com is designed to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard.
This site is operated by a sole proprietor (Einzelunternehmen). I am committed to continuous improvement, and accessibility work is performed iteratively as time allows.
Measures taken
To support accessibility, this website includes:
- A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Semantic HTML structure (landmarks, headings, lists)
- Descriptive alternative text for informative images and decorative-image suppression for screen-reader users
- ARIA attributes on navigation, dialogs, and toggle controls
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionuser setting (animations and the background slideshow pause when reduced motion is requested) - High-contrast color choices in body text and footer text against the dark background
- Keyboard support for the navigation menu, including Escape-to-close
- Language attribution on multilingual content (German segments marked with
lang="de") - An accessible cookie consent banner with keyboard support, focus management, and Escape-to-decline
Known limitations
The following content is known not to be fully accessible:
- Embedded video (YouTube trailer on the Project Succession page) currently lacks German captions and an audio description. Captions are provided by YouTube; a German caption track will be added.
- Paddle checkout iframe (payment flow) is rendered by the payment processor Paddle.com Market Limited. Its accessibility is governed by Paddle and is outside my direct control.
- Background slideshow images are decorative and have no text alternative. They are suppressed when reduced motion is requested.
- Some legal pages contain bilingual (English / German) content; while German segments are marked with
lang="de", document-level language is currently English.
I am working to address these limitations.
